Overmatch is a huge, HUGE mechanic in WoWS. Fuso and New Mexico are normal Battleships, they have 26mm extremities. Fuso superstructure is very tall, but there's also significant voids that lots of shells harmlessly pass through.Ī big defensive concern is Renown's 16mm extremities, because she's a ship from the RN Battlecruiser Line. Both ships rely on Shotgun Effect with 12 guns to get their hits.ĩ. There's really no real "hiding" with Fuso.Ĩ. Above and beyond the worst, one of the easiest BBs to spot from far away. Solid protection scheme while Renown has weak extremities.Ħ. Not as fast as Renown but faster than New Mexico.ĥ. Because even "accurate" 6-8 gun BBs can still completely whiff a salvo.Ĥ. Fuso is the best, most rounded Battleship of the 3 listed by the OP.ġ.
